The PrideStrong Weeklong is here to prove that just one hour of time can make all the difference for animals in need.

The PrideStrong Weeklong was created by Derek “BigCatDerek” Krahn, the operations director of the Center for Animal Research and Education in Bridgeport, Texas. Derek has a passion for animals, conservation, and volunteerism and, utilizing his social media presence, he’s recruiting others to help him change the world.

During this week-long event, participants donate just one hour of their time to an animal-related non-profit of his or her choosing. Afterward, all participants fill out a survey about their volunteering so that, as a group, we can see our impact.
